Maple Row Kitchen
A 1970s closed kitchen opened into a bright working space for a family of five. Structural wall removed, new steel beam, all-new services.
BeforeAfter
The brief
The owners wanted one open room for cooking, homework and hosting, without losing the character of the house. The load-bearing wall between kitchen and dining had to go.
We engineered a flush steel beam, rerouted plumbing to a new island sink and rewired the whole floor to current code. The family stayed in the house throughout, with a sealed dust barrier and a temporary kitchen in the garage.
Result
Handed over two days early and within 1.5% of the original estimate.
